Terms of service.
By satisfying the initial deposit and receipt of invoice, the client or customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
Reservation & Payment Policy
In order to complete a reservation, “save-the-date,” or booking, the client must place a 50% deposit of their final invoice within 24-hours of the request. The remaining balance of the invoice is due on the day of the event and must be paid in full.
Acceptable forms of payment: Paypal, Personal Check (must be mailed 30 days in advance)
Cancellation Policy
Matte Muse or “the Company” allows clients to cancel their reservations up to 24 hours after a deposit is received with a full refund of the deposit placed. Any cancelations made after the 24-hour window will no longer be eligible for a refund.
In the case of a natural disaster or “stay-at-home” order within the venue’s area of jurisdiction, the client has the option to reschedule their reservation to a date of their choosing. If the Company is unable to attend the updated reservation date/time, the client is entitled to a full refund of their deposit.
Matte Muse “the Company” reserves the right to terminate a contract at any time. Upon cancellation made by the Company, the client will receive a full refund of their deposit.
Liability Insurance
If a client’s venue requires liability insurance for its vendors, Matte Muse is able to offer General Liability Insurance with the venue listed as “additionally insured.“ Please contact matt@mattemuse.com for additional details regarding liability insurance.
Delivery of Goods
Upon completion of shooting, editing, and final payment, all content as listed in the client’s invoice will be made available to them via Google Drive. All content is made viewable/downloadable for 90 days. For terms regarding usage, refer to “Media Distribution Policy.”
Media Distribution Policy
Media produced by Matte Muse “the Company” is considered property of the Company. Clients are considered “viewers” when using or distributing media produced by Matte Muse. The Company reserves the right to alter and distribute content as a means for marketing purposes. Clients are also free to utilize any media received as they see fit. This includes but is not limited to distribution via social media, digital downloads, and the manufacturing of physical copies (ie DVD, flash drive, printed screenshots).
